All Optical Universal Logic TAND Gate Using a Single Quantum Dot Semiconductor Optical Amplifier atlifier. Extinction ratio(ER), contrast ratio (CR), and quality factor are calculated. A large eye opening with low value of amplitude modulation ensures efficient performance also. This TAND gate is used to design basic gates NOT, OR, and AND which shows that TAND is a universal gate.
