Detection of Flaw and Corrosionrs at the defect edges, provide the information on the remaining thickness of the waveguides. The other is the point-focusing EMAT, which enables detecting stress corrosion cracking located close to the welded joint of austenitic stainless steel. A meander-line coil is designed to focus the generated SV waves at an intended point.

Online Texture Monitoring of Steel Sheets, the .-value has been determined by measuring plastic strains of tensile specimens (Lankford et al. .) or resonance frequencies with ribbon coupons (Stickels and Mould .). They are destructive measurements. A nondestructive method hopefully a robust tool for online usage has long been needed.
