Handbook of Mechanics of MaterialsIn this the chapter the design and implementation of a portable IoT-enabled microcontroller-based PoC device is discussed. The device is able to measure the concentration of CTx-I in serum and transfer the data to an IoT-based cloud server. Planar Interdigital Sensors and Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy,In this chapter, the operating principle of a planar interdigital sensor is explained and a basic theory of Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) is discussed. An experimental setup is introduced which can fetch the information from the test sample and convert it into an electrical signal for further analysis.
