The Emerging Pagan Movement in America, to transformation. The first four stances all reflect the Modern Social Imaginary, with faith in human reason and progress. An analysis of the values implied by the evidence suggests it is only the Transform stance that is global, ecocentric and future-oriented, and thus most likely to meet the challenges identified in the previous chapter.
