In Vitro Drug Allergy Testinged in addition to skin tests, particularly in cases of severe reactions where provocation testing is contraindicated. Informed selection of the appropriate assay, based on reaction phenotype, and careful interpretation of results is necessary to avoid over- and under-diagnosis of drug hypersensitivity.
