Recent Merged Beams Investigations of Hydrogen Molecular Ion Recombination,The early part of the 1980’s decade saw quite an upheaval in the field of dissociative recombination. Prior to that, theoretical studies had been very limited but it was generally accepted that the direct mechanism.provided a good description of the process.
