Determining Sample Size in Experimental Studies,irst few illustrations in this chapter. By using similar procedures, one can compute the power in other settings as well. In this chapter, we shall discuss the procedure of estimating sample size and power for different statistical tests by using G*Power software.

Determining Sample Size in General Linear Models,erpreted as the size of coefficient in a regression framework, for a given power and significance level. Also we discuss the relationship between the sample size and power when the effect size and significance levels are fixed. The readers can draw such graphs in other applications by following the same procedure.
