The Ultrastable System,the basic requirements of S. 2/10. We can now reconsider the basic problem of S. 5/14, and can consider what is implied by the fact that the kitten changes from having a cerebral mechanism that produces unadapted behaviour to having one which produces behaviour that is adapted.

So far the simple method of S. 4/12 has been adequate, but as it is now intended to treat of systems that are neither wholly joined nor wholly separated, a more rigorous method is necessary.

The State-determined System,bio-mathematician, ranges from the identification of the basic logic necessary for the representation of the basic concept of mechanism, through its development into various branches (such as from the discrete to the continuous and from the non-metric to the metric), to the eventual use of specialised techniques for special particular problems.
