The Direction and Intensity of 137Cs Fluxes in Forest Ecosystemsistributed in the various soil horizons. Contamination of the biota now occurs primarily through root uptake and resuspension of contaminated particles. In this paper we present our data on radionuclide fluxes in Chernobyl forests.

Uncertain Multi-Attribute Decision Making processes. The dynamics of the biological availability of radionuclides is primarily determined by landscape conditions and the physico-chemical forms of the initial fallout. Biota dependent migration is the largest contributor to the geochemical cycle of radionuclides in forest landscapes, whereas water migration is practically insignificant.
