Structural Glycoproteins, consideration in individual categories. One such group includes the collagens described in Chap. 3; the acid polysaccharide-protein group will be described in subsequent chapters. This division reduces considerably the list of heterogeneous macromolecules that may be considered “structural glycoproteins” (ROBERT et al., 1972).
