Applying Concept Mapping to Algebra Ianingful learning takes place for the teacher as well as the student. The teacher also can use the student maps to determine to what extent the student grasps the ideas and their relationships to one another. Thus concept mapping plays a role in teaching, learning, and also in assessment.
