Oksana Soshko,Yuri Merkuryev,Martins Chaksteom ballistic to diffusive motion is investigated by calculating the velocity autocorrelation and the mean square displacement. In the second example we apply the Monte Carlo method to the one- and two-dimensional Ising model. A chain of configurations is constructed and the average magnetization is compared to analytical solutions.
