Cartesian Grid Approach with Virtual Boundary Method and Its Applicationsrved that the hairpin vortex ring is released and the flow transits from laminar to turbulence in . = 1000. It is shown in the flow around two spheres that the released vortex rings interfere each other. Consequently, the present method is very promising for the DNSs of the incompressible complicated flow.

A second-order-accurate fluctuation splitting scheme for unsteady hyperbolic problemsn equation is considered for simplicity. Again, a predictor-corrector scheme is proposed, which combines a first-orderaccurate FS predictor step with a flux-corrected-transport LW corrector one..Standard test problems are used to verify the accuracy of the proposed schemes.

Genetic Algorithms and Game Theory for High Lift Multi-Airfoil Design Problems in Aerodynamicsto high lift multi-airfoil design. Numerical results obtained with this new approach are compared favorably with single global GAs’ ones and illustrate the promising robustness and efficient parallel properties of coupled GAs with different game scenarios for future advanced multidisciplinary aerospace technologies.
