Design of the ARALL F-27 Lower Wing Fatigue Paneling of the Fokker F-27 Friendship has been selected as a design study for this purpose. In this chapter the design philosophy and detail design, as well as results of the finite element analyses and CAD procedures will be presented. Also the preliminary fatigue test results will be discussed briefly.

https://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-642-96504-3me is also investigated. The difference between the dry and wet strengths for the inserted samples is less than that for the bolted samples. Load versus extension plots show that these particular inserts provide a more rigid joint than a bolted connection.

GRP/composite will be very satisfactory for the aerodynamic and structural requirements of the blade.
