Nonlinear Compartmental Models,l, is kept at a constant temperature. There is continuous flow of reactants into this constantly stirred tank. After certain reactions take place inside the tank, a portion of the uniform mixture is then drained from the tank. This process is illustrated in Figure 5.1, where R denotes the fixed rate constant for flow into and out of the tank.
