Mutagenicity of BZD, DAT, DAB and CDA in the Bacterial Mutagenicity Testconcentration and the absence or presence of the S9 mix..In addition it was found that the volume of S9 mix added per plate altered the mutagenic response seen with BZD and that S9 mix prepared from uninduced Syrian hamster was the most effective of the S9 mixes used.

Synchronization Measures in EEG Signals,vating benzidine (BZD) or 4,4″-diaminoterphenyl (DAT): 30% S9s were more efficient than 10% or 4% S9s. DAT was more mutagenic than BZD up to 333 μg per plate and thereafter BZD was more active than DAT, at which point DAT had become insoluble in the assay system.
