Sensors and Protocols for Industry 4.0and discovered a .-acting DNA element, the Ty1-LTR, which interacts with cohesin and regulates gene expression during yeast meiosis. The method described here provides an effective cytological approach for quantitative analysis of global gene expression in budding yeast meiosis.

Here we describe the biochemical reconstitution of topological cohesin loading onto DNA using the purified fission yeast cohesin proteins.

Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineeringe usually low and de-conjugation during sample preparation often occurs. In this chapter we describe a method that can be adapted to different model organisms, and substrates to detect SUMOylation. We focus on cohesin and show that SUMOylation indeed occurs in most of the subunits of budding yeast cohesin.

In this review, we briefly describe what we know about cohesin function and regulation in response to DNA damage, and discuss the optimized laser microirradiation conditions used to analyze cohesin responses to DNA damage in vivo.
