The Radiopharmacological Behaviour of Ida-Derivatives in Normal Experimental Animals,Whilst Technetium-Ida derivatives all show basically similar patterns of biodistribution and as such are suited for cholescintigraphy they nevertheless differ significantly enough from each other to have warranted more detailed comparisons to select the reagent most suited for cholescintigraphy in humans.

Cholescintigraphy in Obstructive Disease,Cholescintigraphy has proved to be a useful tool in evaluating obstructive liver disease (1,2,3,4) even in patients with very high bilirubin levels. Diethyl-Ida has until now been the reagent most widely used but it has been suggested (5) that quantitative studies are necessary for optimal diagnosis.
