Prolonged Hyperoxia and Oligomycin have Similar Effects on Cat Carotid Body Chemoreceptors,s (Lahiri et al., 1985). In this study, we compare the effects of oligomycin and the effects of prolonged hyperoxia on the carotid chemoreceptor responses to the natural stimuli, hypoxia and hypercapnia, as well as to pharmacological agents (Mulligan and Lahiri, 1985).
