Risk Assessment for Chemicals & Radionuclides: Some Characteristics, Similarities and Differences and in their endpoints. Risk assessment can be used in conjunction with other techniques, such as risk management, to deal with practical issues at radiologically and chemically contaminated sites. This paper presents, in an abbreviated way, principles, similarities and differences of risk evaluation in these two related areas.

Controlling von Produktionsprojekten,ls and in natural waters is reviewed. A number of models have been proposed to discribe these interactions and to allow geochemical evaluation of the effect of humics on radionuclides which might be accidentally or deliberately discharged into soils and waters. Brief discriptions of some of the more useful models are provided.
