The Role of Biotechnology in Canola/Rapeseed Researchveloping improved cultivars with a variety of useful attributes. Advances in molecular biology and plant biochemistry, coupled with emerging protocols for modifying and moving DNA from one species to another, are enhancing the ability of plant geneticists to further modify attributes of several plant species including rapeseed.
