Rechnereinsatz zum Federentwurf,eport issued in 2021, pointed out that the world was already off track on SDG 6 even before the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic (UN-Water 2021). There are still 2 billion people in the world without access to safe drinking water and 3.6 billion people without access to safe sanitation facilities.
