Two Hybrids,This chapter describes two similar expert systems which were developed at Cullinet Software, a large software vendor for IBM mainframes, VAXes, and PCs. The systems illustrate some of the difficulties in knowledge base design and show the different features needed in two seemingly very similar systems.
