Integral field data from SINFONI will provide high-resolution two-dimensional maps of nuclear velocity dispersion and rotation, which in turn will constrain the anisotropy parameter and yield robust estimates of the central dark mass.

This is accomplished via optical and IR photometry and spectroscopy of the mass-losing star during the extended X-ray quiescent periods, exploiting essentially classical binary astronomy techniques. I will summarise the optical and IR properties of these objects and review some of the more recent results.
