New Directions in Sensing Using Raman Analysis on Paper and Microfluidic Platforms,on within a sample, for example morphological information. Light can be very selective and probe specific transitions in atoms and molecules at will. In terms of sensing, optical approaches can be attractive—due to the fact that they can be highly specific, sensitive and often can be engineered into compact systems that are relatively inexpensive.
