Nitrogen fixation in Southeast Asian forestry: research and practice,The natural forests of Southeast Asia have been decreasing, and the denuded areas rapidly turned into vast grasslands and brush that are mostly useless. With the everincreasing population, pressure on the forest will continue. This means much reduced wood production.
