Risks from Belt Drying Plants for Sewage Sludge,lastiv woven belts is discussed as a possible ignition course. Special safety recommendations are given for directly fired sludge dryers. The Safety Integrity Level SIL and Performance Level PL of controls are briefly described. Also, HAZOP for belt dryers is briefly presented.
