First Measurements with the DTAS Detectormeasurements with this new detector have been performed with low energy radioactive beams at the upgraded IGISOL IV facility. The characterization of the detector was done by comparison of measurements with Monte Carlo (MC) simulations, and the first analysis of the cases of interest are in progress.

Fission Fragment Mass Distribution of ,Fmsion and—indirectly—to investigate structure of the mother nucleus. It has been proven, that basic properties of nascent fragments are preliminary determined by the configuration of pre-scission point. We assume, that the shape of a nucleus obtained in its pre-scission point provides information about the possible fragment mass asymmetry.
