With respect to welding qualification, an organization should maintain a record of the results obtained in welding procedure and welder and welding operator performance qualifications (Ref. Welding Procedure Development and Qualification Process,lding procedure and required qualification testing, the process may be as simple as modifying an existing welding procedure or simply using a Standard or Pre-Qualified welding procedure to as complex as developing a welding procedure from scratch. In this chapter, details for each step of this process are discussed.
