Attosecond streaking from metal nanotips,will discuss some characteristics of nanoplasmonic streaking which arise due to the inhomogeneity of the electromagnetic fields. Then we will look into the theoretical modelling and expectations of our experiment.

Beantwortung der Forschungsfragen,This thesis presented the first successful experimental results of attosecond streaking measurements on nanoobjects, using a gold nanotip as target. They show that attosecond streaking can even be applied to complex systems. The observations of peak shifts and relative amplitudes slightly deviated from our model simulations.
