Monitoring the Optical Stability of the Atmosphere for Small and Large Optical Thicknesses,The brightness of the sky on the solar almucantar is chiefly determined by the following parameters [1, 2]: the solar zenith distance z., the optical thickness of the atmosphere .. and the albedo of the underlying surface q, and it is greatly dependent upon the form of the scattering indicatrix.
