Measurements of Wave-Front Distortionh and by the average signal speed along each path. The latter factor is determined by atmospheric conditions along the particular path. In the atmosphere, these conditions vary randomly in both space and time and, as a result, the differential delay measurements are subject to corresponding variability and consequent uncertainty.

Propagation Effects Due to Specific Atmospheric Structuresnd amplitude of the field strength of the. travelling wave corresponding to the boundaries are treated. Experimental data evaluated with respect to various weather situations are presented and interpreted as reflection processes at atmospheric boundaries. The implication for radar systems is considered.
