Then the interaction among Industry 4.0 technologies, the concurrent engineering, and design for sustainability are discussed. A conceptual framework is proposed and the perspective of applications in the fashion industry is discussed.

Moderation in Seminar und Training, DfE. Then, based on the gaps in these four pillars, the impacts of five Industry 4.0 technologies on material, product, and process are discussed. The research gaps in each part considering product’s?life cycle (design, manufacturing,?use phase, and EoL) and in three horizons of strategic, tactical, and operational are provided.
