Steam Ejectors for Vacuum Service,from the low absolute pressure at the suction to a higher pressure at the discharge. The ratio of discharge pressure over suction pressure (ratio of compression) is about 6 or 10 to 1, per stage. As with other types of gas compressors, the compression stages are operated in series to obtain a greater overall compression, or lower suction pressure.
