A Current Review on the Application of Enzymes in Anaerobic Digestion,neck that can restrict the rate that methane is produced. Enzyme addition during hydrolysis of a substrate has been reported as a promising alternative to overcome this limitation. This chapter presents a review of the supplementation of enzymes to facilitate the hydrolysis process of various types of substrates in the anaerobic digestion system.
