A Brief Survey of the Air Polution Modeling Activities, Carried Out in the Institute of Geophysics,c dynamic and pollution transport models, applied for the purpose are briefly described. Some study results are demonstrated. The applicability of the approach of the functions of interest in cases of nonlinear chemical transformations is discussed and some suggestions are made.

The Estonian Mesoscale Air Pollution Model,tors and dynamical weather forecast”, intended to non-hydrostatic modelling of the atmospheric dynamics and apply it in the HIRLAM weather forecast model (Estonian HIRLAM team, University of Tartu). The theme is funded by the Estonian Scientific Competence Council.
