The Proposal of Ebenezer Howards, apart from the tuft cell, which has been observed only in the funnel epidermis up to now. A description of their fine structure is given and a functional interpretation is attempted. Adult . exhibits the same general features in this organ as in other studied examples of molluscan epidermis.

The Genus , in the Phylogeny of the Jurassic Cardioceratidae (Ammonoidea)tly included in the genus ., are considered. Lower Callovian . gen. nov., including two nominal species, . (Smorodina) (=type species), and . (Moennig), is probably directly derived from Arctocephalitinae. Upper Callovian species: . d’Eichwald, . sensu . Phillips presumably derived from Middle Callovian . ex gr. .

A Review of Volkhovian and Kundan (Arenig-Llanvirn) Nautiloids from Sweden nautiloids assigned to the Ellesmerocerida, Endocerida, Actinocerida, Dissidocerida, Orthocerida, Tarphycerida and Oncocerida. Several taxa are key in deciphering the evolution of Ordovician cephalopods, especially early Oncocerida, Endocerida and Orthocerida, and provide further evidence for the systematic position of the lituitid nautiloids.

Aggregation of Aragonite in the Outer Prismatic Layer of Mesozoic Ammonoidsnal rows parallel to the X-axis and seem to be polysynthetically twinned. The pseudohexagonal trilling of the outer prismatic layer of Lytoceratina and Ammonitina resemble those of nacreous layer plates of nautiloids and some other molluscs.
