Climate Change and Sustainabilityefinition of the fuzzy set type 2. The current definition of this set is rather suitable for control and fuzzy reasoning. However, the new definition was developed mainly for fuzzy arithmetic. The article presents this definition and shows how to use it in the arithmetic of intuitionistic fuzzy numbers.
