My Relation with Professor Manuel G. Velarden the stability of fluid motion by Normand, Pomeau and Velarde in Review of Modern Physics caught my attention. This review article became not only the introduction to my research career, but also the introduction to my relation with Manuel, who eventually became my Ph.D. thesis advisor, a father-like tutor of life and a great friend.
