Design strategies for VLSI logic,Some typical problems of VLSI circuits and their solutions with the help of architectural concepts, circuit design and process technology are presented. These principles are demonstrated on two experimental chips fabricated in a research process line. Regular structures for the control part of a VLSI processor are described in more detail.
