Path-Protection Routing and Wavelength Assignment with Duct-Layer Constraints,This chapter further investigates the RWA problem in wavelength-routed WDM mesh networks. A new set of constraints, duct-layer constraints, are introduced. We develop ILP formulations and heuristic algorithms to solve the RWAproblem for path-protection schemes under duct-layer constraints.
