Constructing an Object-Oriented System,angian approach in the evaluation of the particle residence time and temperature profile inside the reactor. The calculated reduction degrees based on this approach are in good agreement with the experimental values.

Elements of Object Orientation, the slag diffused into the coarse refractory grains forming the relative low melting magnesia wuestite. Finally, the comparison of these findings with those predicted by thermodynamic calculation (FactSage) indicated the corrosion mechanisms and draw implications for improving the refractory performance and lifetime.
